Content: Lorna Fencer is a senior Law woman who has painted all of her life in preparation for "ceremonies". Lorna commenced painting on canvas in 1986 and has painted for the Warnayaka Art Centre. Her artwork is characterised by the layering of paint and the use of bold colours. Lorna's dreamings include: Yarla (Yam), Wapirti and Marlujarra. Lorna's dreamings enable her to paint stories such as: Bush Tomato; Bush Yam; Caterpillar; Wallaby; Ngalatji (Little White Flower); and some men's stories.
